WE WORK Wednesdays
A VIRTUAL GROUP THAT’S PART COWORKING, PART MASTERMIND, PART ACCOUNTABILITY AND FEEDBACK BUDDIES, AND FULL ENTHUSIASM
You’re invited to meet with other passionate speakers, writers, coaches, consultants, creatives and self-employed folks to scratch off the most important to-do’s, share your work, get feedback from others and elevate the tasks that move your business forward.
We meet the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesdays each month from 8-9:30 AM Pacific Time on Zoom.
This program mirrors the creative process, with each of the four sessions per month aligned with a step of a project cycle.
1st Wednesdays: Observe + Explore
COWORKING STYLE
This space is dedicated to kicking off your month with an organized and clear brain, schedule and workspace. We’ll start with a couple minutes to set our intentions for work for the month.
Suggested tasks: Life/biz admin, finances, inbox organization, envisioning the future, that one thing you keep putting off
2nd Wednesdays: Learn + Research
ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP STYLE
This session is devoted to all things outreach, pitching and connection with audiences. Share what you commit to getting done this session in the chat at the start.
Suggested tasks: Get your monthly pitching, outreach and communications with leads done, create a content calendar and post/schedule content, search for events or people to collaborate with in the future, catch up on LinkedIn/your newsletter
3rd Wednesdays: Create + Share
MASTERMIND STYLE
Bring your ideas, challenges, plans or in-progress work to get peer support and bounce around thoughts and brainstorming. And share a win from the past month so we can celebrate you!
Breakout groups: Equal time split for every person to share what they’re working on and have the others in the group help in whatever way is needed. This could be getting feedback on a speech or piece of writing/art, sharing ideas for a new program, clarifying the steps to further your work, share resources, etc.
4th Wednesdays: Improve + Evaluate
FEEDBACK SESSION STYLE
Share your program, speech, website, portfolio, service, product, or anything you need group feedback on. We’ll spend a moment upon signing in to share something we’re each struggling with or searching for, and see who can help (or if you can offer assistance!).
Suggested tasks: Equal time split for everybody to share what they want and to ask questions of the others to gather their feedback and input. The time is yours to ask for what you need.
You’ll get the most out of these sessions if you attend them regularly. Since each session is different and feeds into the others, attending as many as possible keeps you moving through the creative process to bring work to life. (But there’s no attendance requirement!)
This is for you if:
You always promise yourself that you’ll “catch up” on that thing, but you never do
You never get around to outreach even though you want more work you love
You seek a place to share your work and gather feedback
You’re self-employed (fully or partially) and want a community to keep you accountable to growth
You want to help others level-up their work in return
You value community, efficiency, creativity and collaboration
You’ll get:
others cheering you on and sharing their thoughts on your work
built-in progress and consistency toward your goals
anti-procrastination motivation
focus time to get things done that benefits you and your future in work/life
a boost of togetherness that builds your network
a facilitated icebreaker and closing for each session
to bask in the relief and pleasure of knowing you finally did the thing
What to bring:
a goal or intention
in-progress projects or drafts
unglamorous, pushed-aside admin tasks
new ideas you want to run by others
willingness to be vulnerable and to give as much as you take
a wifi connection (this takes place on Zoom)
Session Flow
You sign on promptly at the starting time.
We start with a quick icebreaker based on that week’s theme, so you can share what you plan to work on (hello, accountability!).
We dive into the meat of the session based on the suggested theme, whether it’s more internally focused (1st and 2nd Wednesdays) or group share focused (3rd and 4th Wednesdays).
For 1st and 2nd Wednesdays, most of this time is quiet. You can choose to be on or off camera. Many people like the accountability of being on camera, but it’s totally optional.
3rd and 4th Wednesdays are full of interaction and discussion to help elevate each others’ work. We break into groups of 3-4 people, and split the time evenly so each person can share their work, run ideas by the others, and collect feedback. You may choose to screenshare, paste links, etc. Please be an active participant in helping others, too.
5 minutes before the close of our meeting, everyone will share what they worked on or a takeaway from the session.
I’m your facilitator, ANGIE
I’ve been fully self-employed since January 2022, and have had side projects/businesses since 2020.
It’s become crystal clear that we passionate, creative, independent folks thrive on regular, supportive, accountability-focused collaboration with others in similar work (and across industries!).
After joining a couple professional groups, I saw a need for a space like We Work Wednesdays to give people like you the value of coworking, accountability groups, masterminds and feedback sessions all wrapped into one program.
Everything I teach and do revolves around a four-part framework similar to the creative process. (Heck, I even wrote a book on how the menstrual cycle mirrors creative flow!)
That’s why these sessions occur four times a month with intentional activities to help you elevate your work.
Looking forward making magic happen with you!
Q’s and A’s
-
You are free to work on anything you’d like during our time: Need to wrap holiday gifts? Do your physical therapy exercises? Write a blog post? Organize photos? Invoice clients? Whatever it is, this time will hold you accountable to doing it.
-
Investment helps all parties stay accountable to showing up. Ever sign up for a free event or webinar and not show up? (Yup.) Ever put financial stake in the game and end up going so you don’t lose money? The fee nudges you to keep you coming so that it’s an effective, joyful experience for you! Also, facilitating a group experience like this takes time and effort, and a fee alleviates that a bit.

This is excellent for creatives, speakers, writers, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, moonlighters, multi-passionates, people who struggle with staying accountable to goals, people who love setting goals, people who “just can’t find the time”, people who crave deep work sessions, people who get energized from working with others and, probably, people just like you.
Honestly, the only people who aren’t a great fit for WWW are those who don’t want to contribute to others’ mastermind and feedback slots.

We never meet on 5th Wednesdays. :) Consider it a week off to let things settle and marinate!
